The Romanian females with medium and higher income and education have their first child when they are about 29 years old, nearly one-third choose to give birth in a private clinic, and the majority opt for Cesarean section, before or after 30 years of age, according to a GfK study. The poll was conducted on pregnant women or women with average or higher income and medium or high education from Romania’s large cities (over 200,000 inhabitants) who have children up to 3 years old.
