The Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) on Thursday borrowed 300 M RON via three year bonds, exactly the amount it sought to, at an yield of 6.55 pc, slightly higher than the 6.53 pc paid in mid-October, according to Mediafax. The banks subscribed 544.5 M RON. The most recent such auction was held last month, when the Treasury sold bonds worth 250 M RON, at a yield of 6.53 pc. The Finance Ministry aims to attract 3.55 bln RON this month from bond sales. On Friday, the Treasury will launch a bond issue worth 150 M euro, due to mature in May 2014.
