The Traffic Regulation amendment bill imposes more restrictive norms on moped and scooter drivers but at renewing the driver’s license as well. Many of the new regulations seek to reduce the number of accidents on public roads. Therefore, “the drivers of motor vehicles, trams, tractors used at farm and forestry works exclusively and self-propelled vehicles must have a relevant license”. The drivers of mopeds, scooters, ATVs, vehicles whose maximum speed does not exceed 45 km/hand a cylinder capacity no higher than 50 cubic centimeters, shall also have a proper driver’s license. The new regulations also stipulate fines for the bikers who don’t run strictly on the reserved tracks, as of Jan 19, 2013.
