In premier for the Romanian sector of utilities, Enel launched a mobile application for smartphones and tablet PCs, which allows customers to access the MyEnel self-service. According to a press release, the new application keeps Enel customers updated with the latest news about the company, allows them to consult pricing data, special offers or information about planned maintenance and upgrade works to the electricity grid. Customers can also access their power consumption history and the readings of electricity meters. MyEnel App can be freely downloaded from App Store or Google Play. The software extends in the digital world the MyEnel platform launched in 2010.
