NEPI and Carrefour Property Romania invested EUR 65 M in Ploiesti Shopping City

Ploiesti Shopping City – the biggest regional mall in southern Romania – opened last week in Ploiesti, following an EUR 65 M investment committed by New Europe Property Investments plc (“NEPI”) and Carrefour Property Romania. According to a press release, Ploiesti Shopping City spreads on 55,000 square meters and hosts over 100 shops, with internationally renowned brands and the most complex and attractive leisure area (playgrounds for children and a food-court area). Starting December 2012, the residents of the town will have at Ploiesti Shopping City the biggest cinema complex outside Bucharest, with 12 cinema halls, operated by Cinema City.
