Former Posta Romana manager – 6 years in prison

Ex Justice Minister Tudor Chiuariu was acquitted.

The former manager of ‘Posta Romana’ company Dan Mihai Toader was sentenced yesterday to 6 years in prison, while two executive managers received 5 year terms, Realitatea.net reports. Andrei Marinescu, the executive director of the Strategic Development Department of CNPR will spend 5 years and a half in jail, and Emanoil Lepadatu, the executive economic manager of CNPR, 5 years. Ioan Folfa, the manager of Topcadex 99, was sentenced to one year – suspended. The former minister of Justice, Tudor Chiuariu was acquitted in the case referring to the consultative approval of HG 377/2007 regarding the plot of land situated at 133-135 Calea Victoriei Avenue, by a 3-judge panel of the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ).The former minister of Communications and Information Technology, Zsolt Nagy received a suspended 3-year sentence.
