OMV Petrom (SNP) has opened a fuel storage facility built from the ground up at Isalnita, Dolj County, a nearly 26 M euro investment. “The project is part of a major investment program including the construction of three new fuel depots (Jilava, Brazi, Isalnita) and the upgrade of three more. At a capacity of 11,000 m3, the Isalnita depot will supply the southern part of Romania,” according to the Petrom communique. The unit is the third fuel storage facility built from the ground up over the past three years. The construction of the fully automated depots at Jilava, Brazi and Isalnita, with a total storage capacity of 46.000 m3, called for investments worth 87 M euro.
