Romanian company Syscom 18 expands its business in Iraq

The Romanian company Syscom 18, dealing in industrial automation and measuring devices, announced that it expanded its business in Iraq, by signing a contract worth EUR 3 M, reads a press release. The project consists in designing, constructing, assembling, fitting electric and automation devices, and integrating 40 fiscal measurement systems in two Iraqi thermal power plants. The project is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2013. “The alert development pace of the oil and gas segment in the region, along with our previous work experience in other countries of the Middle East favoured us in obtaining this project. (…) This year, approximately 25 pc of incomes are generated by international projects,” explained Ion Andronache, the president of the company.
