Extraordinary concerts at Radio Hall this December

Several extraordinary concerts are scheduled this December at the Radio Hall: Christmas carols, special guests from abroad and Romanian artists returning home in order to thrill the Romanian audience. The series of events will start on Friday, at 7 PM, with the concert given by the Radio National Orchestra in collaboration with the Polish Institute in Bucharest. The concert will feature the participation of Polish pianist Beata Bilinska. Directed by Horia Andreescu, one of the most applauded Romanian directors, the evening’s programme includes works that are rarely interpreted in Romania. The programme includes: Mihai Moldovan’s “Scoarte”, Richard Strauss’s “Burleske for Piano and Orchestra” and Rachmaninoff’s “Symphonic Dances.” On the other hand, at 7 PM on Saturday, Polish pianist Beata Bilinska will give an extraordinary recital that will include works signed by Chopin and Rachmaninoff. The event is organized in collaboration with the Polish Institute in Bucharest.  Poland’s Beata Bilinska is already a well appreciated name on the great international stages. Beata Bilinska won the second prize in the Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam Competition (1993), was a finalist of the 46th edition of the Ferruccio Busoni Competition (1994) and won the first prize at the Rina Sala Gallo Competition (2002).
