Romtelecom and Cosmote appoint new manager

Romtelecom and Cosmote recently announced the nomination of Panos Makris, until now chief commercial officer of Cosmote, as executive commercial manager of the two companies controlled by the Greek telecom group OTE. “In this position, Panos Makris will coordinate all the commercial efforts and initiatives of the two companies,” Romtelecom announced in a press release. Makris was appointed, in 2010, as chief commercial officer of Cosmote Romania, in charge with the operations of Cosmote, Germanos, Sunlight and Zapp. Previously, he worked with telecom and consumer goods companies. At the same time, Romtelecom announced that it appointed Mihai Tudor, former IBM manager for south-eastern Europe, as chief commercial officer of its business segment.
