PM Ponta: The next government will have an Energy Ministry

Premier Victor Ponta told a Gorj Prefecture press conference Wednesday that the next government will include an Energy ministry whose leader will cooperate with the relevant European commissioner, according to realitatea.net. Asked whether he had drawn up a short list of potential Energy ministers, the PM had this to say: “What I’m talking about in the first place is the governmental conception and my option that I have also discussed with Mr. Antonescu on a ministry and a minister to deal with energy. Actually, the European Commission has a relevant commissioner and the minister will come in touch with that commissioner. I won’t speak about persons until I get the mandate to form the Government”.
