Dr. Serban Bradisteanu sued in Nastase case

National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) prosecutors announced yesterday that they have sued Dr. Serban Alexandru Bradisteanu from the Floreasca Emergency Hospital in Bucharest. The prosecutors accuse the reputed cardiologist of connivance, a felony similar to that of corruption. Prosecutors consider that when former PM Adrian Nastase tried to commit suicide on June 20, after he was sentenced to two years in jail, “Bradisteanu, through his attitude, tried to hinder the execution of the sentence.” DNA claims that the doctor “hospitalized Adrian Nastase within the ward he was heading although the diagnosis did not call for that.”
