Save the Children collected EUR 185,000 at Christmas Tree Festival

The Save the Children Romania organization collected 185,000 euro for 2,500 children and their families at the 12 Christmas Tree Festival on Saturday, where  26 trees were auctioned off created by Romanian  designers and artists, according to the organization communiqué. The star fir trees were created by Alexandru and Mihnea Ghildus – “Surprise behind the Curtain” (adjudicated for 10,000 euro), Anca Rusu – “Princess Ladle” (10,000 euro) and The One (7,000 euro). The Save the Children Christmas Tree got donations worth 8,800 euro. The Christmas Tree Festival is a fundraising event organized every year by the Save the Children Romania whose main attraction is the special Christmas tree auction created exclusively for this occasion by some of the best known Romanian designers.
