AOAR: 10 proposals of the business environment for the new cabinet

The Businessmen’s Association of Romania (AOAR) has 10 proposals for the new government related to the business environment, which it considers as priorities for economic recovery. According to a press release issued yesterday, the 10 priorities meant to revive the business environment and SMEs refer to a significant reduction of accounting obligations/cash payments and reporting for SMEs, crediting schemes for productive/innovative companies, and with regard with EU Funds the top priority is rendering POS CCE functional.In the energy sector, the main priority is evaluating the strategy and defining the electricity production structure by year 2020, correlated with the policies of overcompensation in the wind and solar renewable energy sector, to the detriment of biomass-based energy. AOAR also gives as priorities financing the innovation and assimilation of products conceived and manufactured in Romania, a strategy of the health sector that – together with the reform of the public system – will better use the potential of this sector (export of private medical services at EU scale), further increasing the flexibility of labour legislation, supporting the job creation process in creative industries and IT a.s.o. Two priorities refer to a multiannual budget in line with the new form of the Law of Public Finance, aligned to EU directives, with regard to the public investments and financing decided by central authorities based on public policies, while defining objectives based on indicators and a conceiving a local budget balancing programme that will last until 2020, respectively 2030 for all counties (regions).
