Dacia-Renault Group employees awarded by President Basescu

On the occasion of awarding several Dacia-Renault Group employees, President Traian Basescu thanked the French government for “having the courage to encourage” the Renault Group to invest in Romania, according to a press release. The awards were offered at the Presidential Palace, in the presence of French Ambassador Philippe Gustin, to the employees of Dacia-Renault, as a sign of “high appreciation for their remarkable contribution to the development of the auto vehicle industry in Romania, for technological ingenuity, for the managerial seriousness and intelligence they have shown in the process of constructing the Dacia Renault auto vehicle.” Traian Basescu offered the National Order “For Merit” in Knight Degree to Petru-Sorin Buse, director of Renault Technologie Romania and Engineering Centre, the “Industrial and Commercial Merit” Order in Grand Officer degree to Carlos Tavares Antunes Dias, general manager Renault Group, the “Industrial and Commercial Merit” Order in Commander Degree to Jean-Christophe Kugler, leader of the Euromed-Africa region and President of Dacia’s Administrative Council, and the “Industrial and Commercial Merit” Order in Knight Degree to Radu Mavrodin, Dacia’s Human Resources CEO, to Doru-Radu Coman, director of Dacia’s Gama MO, and to Cornel Olendraru, director of Dacia’s Mechanical Plant.
