PNL and PC announced their nominations for state secretaries

Both the Liberals and the Conservatives nominated their future state secretaries and under-secretaries, at the beginning of this week. According to Liberal sources quoted by Mediafax, the nominations will be approved by PM Victor Ponta today, after a cabinet meeting in which the Executive is expected to adopt the decisions on reorganising ministries.Monday, the PNL leadership validated the new proposals for the positions of state secretaries in the new USL government, as 11 persons were designated for these offices, besides the acting state secretaries that already took office, Liberal sources announced. The list includes a former mayor, employees of local administrations, the former general manager of CFR SA, former MPs and counselors of ministers. The 11 names are: Stejarel Olaru (the relation with Romanians from everywhere), Dan Manolescu (Ministry of Finance), Gheorghe Hogea (the relation with the Parliament), Cristian Ghibu (Transport), Radu Boroianu (Culture), Grigore Trache (Development), Manuel Donescu (Economy), Valentin Soneriu (Agriculture), Ionut Iuga (Water and Forest), Puiu Gelu (Water and Forest) and Adrian Pana (Health). The Conservatives will have in the government five state secretaries and two state under-secretaries, as the party leadership yesterday nominated for these offices Codrin Scutaru (Labour Ministry), Cristian Cosmin (Ministry of Youth and Sports), Sorin Vicol (Ministry of Telecommunications), Achim Irimescu (Ministry of Agriculture), Dan Enache (Ministry for SMEs) and Razvan Vulcanescu (state under-secretary with the Ministry of Health). PC leader Daniel Constantin mentioned yesterday that, next week, the party leadership will validate another proposal for the office of state under-secretary with the Ministry of SMEs.According to gandul.info, 46 of the nearly 60 future state secretaries of the Ponta II government have been already nominated or appointed to offices so far, and the vacant positions will be filled by PSD.
