A 10-year-old pupil enrolled at the ‘Bathory Istvan’ High School in Cluj-Napoca died yesterday afternoon after he collapsed in the courtyard during recess, Mediafax informs. Andrei Biris, spokesperson of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Cluj, stated that the pupil received first aid on the scene and was then taken to the emergency hospital. “The boy died as a result of a cardiopulmonary arrest,” Calin Lazar, the medical director of the Emergency Hospital for Children in Cluj, stated. Police have started an investigation.
