Four people, hit by car on pedestrian crossing in Cluj

Four people were hit and injured Monday morning by a car on a pedestrian crossing in Cluj-Napoca, Mediafax reports. The spokeswoman of Cluj Police, Anca Sidonia Bolba said that the accident occurred near 6.00 AM, on Calea Baciului Street of Cluj-Napoca. According to the source, the incident was caused by a 63 year old driver that did not grant the right of passage to a group of pedestrians crossing the street. The car hit four people, then fell in a ditch. The driver and a passenger of the car were also injured. The six injured people were taken to the Emergency Unit (UPU) of Cluj. The driver is probed for reckless driving and personal injury.
