GE delivers turbines worth USD 30 M to Tulcea wind park

America’s General Electric (GE) has signed a USD 30 M contract with Bucharest-based Energia Verde Ventuno, a company with Italian shareholders, for the delivery of six 17.5-MW wind power turbines and maintenance services. The turbines will be installed in Cerna locality, Tulcea County, and will ensure the electricity supply of approximately 7,000 homes, a GE communiqué informs. Energia Verde Ventuno’s project is co-financed by the European Union through the sectoral operational programme for enhancing economic competitiveness.
