On St. Valentine’s Day the InterContinental Hotel invites couples of all ages to celebrate their love.
Thursday, February 14, the Corso Brasserie and the Modigliani Restaurant will welcome their guests with romantic dinners, special menus created by Chef Alonso Salvaggio and a raffle in which couples can win a night at the hotel.
At the Modigliani Restaurant the menu consists of three dishes and dessert, a package of beverages included and live piano music. The menu includes: smoked salmon and tuna with rocket salad and fresh mint, pasta filled with gorgonzola and pink sauce, beef with marmalade and cherry tomatoes, parmesan and heart-shaped mashed potatoes, and dessert with three types of chocolate and forest fruit sorbet. The heart-shaped dishes, the pink creams and sauces, the chocolate and the strawberry were specially chosen for this holiday. A dinner costs RON 185 per person, VAT included.
At the Corso Brasserie the dinner consists of two dishes and dessert, as well as a package of beverages, all for RON 135 per person, VAT included. The menu prepared for Valentine’s Day includes an appetizer made up of mushroom sauce with truffles, chicken with spinach and fondant cheese, potato gnocchi and cherry tomatoes and for dessert – forest fruit panna cota.
The couples will be welcomed with a glass of champagne on the house. When leaving, the ladies will also receive a symbolic gift from the restaurant. The underground parking lot is free for those celebrating St. Valentine’s Day at the InterContinental.
The couples that will stay at the hotel overnight will be given Deluxe rooms and will be treated with champagne and strawberries. The next day the guests will serve breakfast at the Corso Brasserie and can use the swimming pool or the fitness centre located on the hotel’s 22nd floor. The price of the room stands at RON 290, VAT included, for those that have dinner at the hotel.
