The Minister of Economy, Varujan Vosganian announced yesterday that he cannot save Oltchim Ramnicu-Valcea (OLT) on his own and he needs an agreement of political will between PSD and PNL, the support of trade unions and social peace, Mediafax reports. “I do not want to turn Oltchim into a media show, as it happened last autumn. We risk giving an anecdotic dimension to Oltchim. We need a level-headed attitude and responsibility with regard to Oltchim. No investor will come if Oltchim employees go on hunger strike on payday, while others carry petrol bottles which they threaten to pour on their heads,” the Minister of Economy explained.
The PDL permanent bureau decided Monday that the Parliament groups of the party will initiate a simple motion over Oltchim, demanding the resignation of ministers Daniel Chitoiu and Varujan Vosganian.
