The Iasi-Tirgu Mures Motorway project is necessary and I’m definitely in favour of this infrastructure undertaking, Dan Sova, delegate minister for national interest infrastructure projects and foreign investments, said yesterday, according to a government press release, following press reports saying the minister would oppose it. Sova stressed the project’s necessity given the motorway would not only link Moldavia to Transylvania, but also provide an Eurasia traffic alternative to European Union countries.
