AXA Life Romania bonuses up by 31 pc last year

AXA Life Insurance Romania’s revenues from subscribed bonuses rose by 31 per cent last year according to the data included in the Insurance Supervisory Commission’s annual report, the bonuses corresponding to policies newly subscribed last year for individual clients registering a significant hike of 74 per cent, a communiqué informs. These results are the more so important as the life insurance market registered last year a minimum growth of almost 1 per cent, the communiqué shows. Last year AXA Asigurari Romania continued to consolidate its group insurance operations, the bonuses corresponding to policies newly subscribed for corporate clients also registering a 20 per cent hike. “These sustained positive results are due mostly to investments in the development of the distribution network, as well as to media investments in the sustained communication that AXA had with Romanian consumers throughout last year,” AXA Asigurari Romania general manager Violeta Ciurel stated.
AXA Romania expanded its operations by hiking the distribution network from 41 to 51 agencies in 2012. It currently has over 700 financial consultants at the disposal of its clients and potential clients throughout the country.
