Jabs between partners

Premier Victor Ponta mocked Liberal Deputy Ludovic Orban, who said at the PNL Congress Saturday that the honeymoon is over between PNL and PSD, and it is the PNL which plays second fiddle in government, saying he pays attention to what Hungarian PM Viktor Orban, and not Ludovic Orban. “Both in the PNL and the  PSD – luckily less with us – there are people who have nothing to do, they are not in the leadership, don’t express a point of view, they get the impression they become more popular in the PNL if they swear at the PSD, or in the PSD if they have a squabble with the PNL. What I pay attention to is what Viktor Orban, and not Mr. Ludovic, is saying,” Ponta commented. PSD General Secretary Liviu Dragnea, in his turn, said that the two parties have never been on a honeymoon and won’t have one either, as they don’t get married. “In Government, we are a team rather oblivious of the parties we come from, it is Romania’s Government’s team,” said Dragnea.
