Some of the latest Japanese film production will be screened at during the Japanese Film Days at Bucharest’s Cinematheque Eforie, Feb 25-28, according to a press release. The event is organized by the Japanese Embassy in Romania, Japan Foundation and the National Film Archive – the Romanian Cinematheque. All films are shown with English subtitles. In order to ease Romanian viewers’ contact with these representative productions of one of the world’s most important cinematography, admission is free within the limit of seats available. Among the films to be projected: “Shodo Girls!” directed by Ryuichi Inomata (2010) and “Quartet”, Junichi Mimura (2012).
