The metallurgical works Laminorul Braila, recently sold by the Russian group Mechel to the Bucharest-based firm Invest Nikarom for a symbolic price of RON 230 (EUR 52), has a new CEO in the person of Katylkou Hleb and a new Chairman of the Board, Eduard Chimac, both of them having worked previously for member companies of Mechel. Katylkou Hleb, a citizen of Belarus, was also appointed provisional member in the Board and will be deputy Chairman. The offices of CEO and administrator are in effect until the end of April, according to a communique sent yesterday by Laminorul to the Rasdaq market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
