Chinese company submits offer for Comarnic-Brasov MTWY

A Chinese company has put in an offer for the Comarnic-Brasov Motorway, realitatea.net informs. The constructors taking an interest in the project also include Vinci (France) – Aktor (Greece) – Strabag (Austria) Joint Venture, UMB Spedition-Tehnostrade Group (Romania) and IMPREGILO S.p.A. (Italy).The Vinci-Aktor joint venture was picked in 2009 to build the motorway stretch, yet, shortly before the signing of the EUR 4.7 bln estimated contract with the Romanian state, the deal went sour, with the section to have been built under a  public-private partnership.
