Nae Caranfil and Angela Gheorghiu, among the guests at “Child’s Pose” premiere

Film director Nae Caranfil, soprano Angela Gheorghiu and Prince Nicolae were among the nearly 1,000 guests invited to attend the Romanian premiere of ‘Child’s Pose’ the first Romanian feature ever to get a Golden Bear Award. The event was hosted by the Grand Hall of the Bucharest National Theater in whose foyer the guests could admire the famous trophy on display. Other guests included Cezar Ouatu, Marian Crisan, Ana Ularu and Eugen Serbanescu, general director of the National Center for Cinematography. Soprano Leontina Vaduva, who has a cameo role in the film, walked on the red carpet alongside the film crew. Also present were Ivan Patzaichin, Cristian Topescu and Alina Dumitru – who were part of the film promotion campaign “Support Romania at the Berlinale”.
