BRD and three other banks extend RON 145 M loan to Energomontaj

BRD-Groupe Societe Generale, together with Banca Romaneasca, Bancpost and Volksbank Romania, will extend a syndicated 2-year loan of RON 145 M (EUR 33 M) to Energomontaj, for financing operations and guaranteeing the projects developed by the company, Mediafax informs. “The bank consortium includes BRD, as mandated lead bank, guarantee agent and issuer bank, with a participation of RON 33.4 M, Banca Romaneasca – RON 44 M, Bancpost – RON 40.5 M and Volksbank Romania – RON 27.1 M. The documentation of the syndicated loan and the legal assistance were provided by the law firm Clifford Chance Badea,” BRD informs in a communiqué. Energomontaj is a Romanian company with 100 pc private capital that deals in assembling and making operational electric plants and the equipment pertaining to them.
