DNA: Nastase does not show remorse for being among political leaders with criminal issues

The National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) states in its argument for the appeal against the District 4 Court decision for the conditional early release of Adrian Nastase that the former prime minister does not show remorse for being on the gallery of political leaders with criminal issues, he just regrets being the only one having received a final conviction. DNA further notes that, with the materials he has written as well as press articles he has authored and published, Adrian Nastase proves he has no remorse for the deeds that brought him his prison sentence. The prosecutors further note in the same document which contains an enumeration of press articles written by Nastase that ‘in the hierarchy of values of the convict Adrian Nastase, justice occupies a minor position’.
