The seven places in the Board of SIF Moldova are disputed by 22 candidates, including the acting chairman of the Board and CEO Costel Ceocea, the Chairman of the Board of Banca Transilvania, Horia Ciorcila and Andrei Hrebenciuc, son of PSD deputy Viorel Hrebenciuc, Mediafax reports. Ceocea and the other six members of the acting Board of SIF Moldova were the first that entered the race for a new term in office. The new Board of SIF Moldova will be elected in an AGA meeting scheduled for April 4/5, and the deadline for submitting applications was Friday, March 8. The son of Viorel Hrebenciuc was proposed for a place in the Board of SIF Moldova by an individual investor, Diana Le Bomin, who owns 2.79 pc of shares. Diana Le Bomin is among the three shareholders of SIF Moldova who demanded a dividend of 0.24 RON/share, 41 pc higher than the value planned by the Board of Administrators.
