Bucharest NexT Festival Bucharest April 10-14

Films from Germany, France and New Zealand will be screened at the NexT International Short and Medium-Length Film Competition, Bucharest, April 10-14. The 23 entries from 16 countries picked  for this year’ festival from among the 1,000 registered keep a balance   between popular and innovative aesthetics, between the films praised at some of the most important international festivals (yet shown for the first time  in Romania) and those that only begin being discovered. This year’s jury is made up of Chris Tidman (UK, Shorts International), Roar Skau Olsen (Sweden, sound designer), Michele Driguez (France, Festival du Film Mediterraneen), Herve Le Phuez (Belgium, Festival du Film Francophone de Namur) and Radu Jude (Romania, film director). The NexT festival is an event organized by the NexT Cultural Society.
