“Sound of Music” starts its 3rd season at Peles Museum

The third season of the “Sound of Music” will kick off at the concert hall of Peles Castle on Saturday, March 23, 5.00 pm, according to hotnews.ro. Trio Sternin, made up of some of the best young Romanian musicians – violinist Georgeta Iordache, cellist Gabriela Bokor and pianist Daria Tudor – will offer a regal performance consisting of opuses by Sergey Rachmaninov, Dumitru Bughici and Sabin Pautza. The “Sound of Music” season will allow ten meetings between the great music and its fans. The recitals at Peles Castle – an architectural jewel, a Romanian cultural, historic and esthetic symbol – will be held march thru October, with guests including  soprano Veronica Anusca, jazz pianist Mircea Tiberian, Icon Arts Percussion Group and the laureates of the 3rd “Road to Celebrity” Contest at Mogosoaia Palace, according to the source quoted. Admission is based on invitations that can be obtained from the Peles National Museum or by filling out an application on the Peles Museum website.
