Seven children, injured in school bus accident

Seven children were injured yesterday afternoon when the minibus they were in was hit by a truck on National Road 19, in the Bihor County, Mediafax informs. According to the spokeswoman of the Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) Bihor, Camelia Rosca, four of the children “are in a rather serious condition” with head and face injuries and trauma. The spokeswoman of Bihor Police, Alina Dinu said that the accident occurred at 1.15 PM, on DN 19, in the village of Ianca, when a lorry driven by a Belarusian citizen did not keep the distance behind the school minibus. The truck hit the minibus from behind, then it also hit a utility vehicle rolling in the same direction. According to preliminary information, there apparently were 9 children in the minibus.
