Nikolai Beckers is appointed COSMOTE Romania Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as of April 1st, a press release informs. Beckers will also assume the position of Romtelecom CEO. Stefanos Theocharopoulos, following a successful 5-year track record as head of OTE’s Romanian operations, will assume a new position within OTE Group as Group Chief Technology & Operations Officer, for both Fixed & Mobile Telephony. In Greece, Theocharopoulos will be responsible for a team of over 6,000 employees. Beckers was T-Systems France CEO as of September 2011. He has wide experience in the field of telecommunications, IT&C, as well as the Internet and Social Media. He was also CEO of Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary in FYROM.
