URB wants subsidies and lower taxes

URB Group, part of Turkish holding Kombassan and owner of Rulmentul Barlad factory, asks the Government to offer measures to incentivise local producers by granting subsidies and lowering investment taxes and charges, Mediafax informs. Economy Minister Varujan Vosganian, attending the event celebrating 60 years of activity of the ball bearing factory, said he ‘totally’ supported the industry. He further noted the Government was considering the possibility of reducing social security contributions in H2 2013 and that an investment fostering package with a lower VAT could be implemented in 2014 if 1.52 per cent economic growth was achieved.
