At Antipa, behind closed doors

The „Grigore Antipa” Museum of Natural History continues its meeting series with the museum’s experts as the conference cycle „At Antipa, behind closed doors”. Saturday, from 11.00 am, Dr. Costica Adam one of the museum’s two zoologists that attended the “Caving in the Abode of the Clouds 2013 – Meghalaya, India” expedition, Feb 1-25, 2013, as a member of the scientific team, will lay out the goals of the expedition, its stages and results. Meghalaya, “The Dwelling of the Clouds” or “The House of the Clouds” in Sanskrit, is one of the 28 Indian states. Its geographical location makes the sky in that area often being covered by clouds, with the place associated with the highest amount of precipitation during the monsoon season.
