SAP Romania opened in Timisoara a center that will provide premium consulting services to customers of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, this being the second center launched by the company in Romania, after the facility in Bucharest. “Currently, over 60 SAP consultants work at Timisoara and our target until 2014 is to have over 400 IT specialists in the SAP Nearshore Centers of Romania,” the CEO of SAP Romania, Valentin Tomsa informs in a press release. He added that SAP’s decision to invest in Timisoara will contribute to the development of the IT in western Romania and will offer professional opportunities to the local community of specialists. The German company SAP is among the main global players on the market of business software, with a turnover exceeding EUR 16.2 bln in 2012.
