Lights will go out at Parliament Palace for an hour on Saturday evening, 8.30 pm to 9.30, to mark Earth Hour 2013, an event aimed at sending a strong message on action against climate change. The Chamber of Deputies Standing Bureau on Monday approved a relevant request from the World Wide Fund For Nature International Organization. Parliament Palace took part in this initiative in previous years too. On Saturday, 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm, individuals and institutions around the globe will turn off the lights in over 6,500 cities, according to the internal memorandum passed by the Chamber of Deputies leading body.
