The Romanian pilot of the Tarom London – Bucharest Feb 6 flight that Heathrow Airport authorities cancelled on grounds the pilot was inebriated was found not guilty by London’s Isleworth Crown Court. The court judge dismissed the charges against Radu Cristea, 38, a Tarom pilot, who was found not guilty last week, according to newsair.ro. Radu Cristea appeared in court March 21 and was successfully defended by a Romanian lawyer, sources close to the pilot said, who added that the lawyer deftly speculated some procedural flaws and persuaded the judge the defendant was not guilty of the charges.
