Former employees of Mechel Campia Turzii continue protests

The former employees of the Mechel Campia Turzii plant will continue their protest authorised by the Municipality in front of the company this week, and the ‘Wire Industry’ Union  is demanding an urgent meeting of its leader Ioan Pascu with Economy Minister Varujan Vosganian, according to hotnews.ro. The ‘Wire Industry’ Union leader, engineer Ioan Pascu, said he was on his way to the ‘Metarom’ Federation of Steel Union, in Bucharest, to discuss the way in which it could support Campia Turzii protests as well as to meet with the minister.  Campia Turzii Mayor Radu Hanga said yesterday he had approved another five days of Mechel employees protests.
