Romstrade Logistic Expres sells two Saab planes to Guatemalan company

Romstrade Logistic Expres sells two Saab 340A planes to a company registered in Guatemala, for USD 1.1 M, informs Rudolf Vizental, managing partner with Casa de Insolventa Transilvania, the judicial administrator of the air transport company controlled by Nelu Iordache, Mediafax reports. The contract was signed, but the two aircraft currently undergo maintenance and repairs, Vizental added. He explained that the sale will be conducted when the planes will pass all tests and the external flight licenses will be obtained. The representative of the judicial administrator mentioned that the transaction was negotiated before Romstrade Logistic Expres (formerly Direct Aero Services) entered insolvency in December 2012, based on a verdict pronounced by the Giurgiu Tribunal.
