Trivium, Enslaved and Spineshank at Rock The City 2013

Three of the highest regarded heavy metal bands of the moment, Trivium, Enslaved and Spineshank, will perform live for the first time in Romania at the “Rock the City 2013” Festival at Bucharest’s Romexpo July 27 and 28, according to a press communiqué.

The bands will perform on day 2 of the festival, July 28, along with headliners Bullet For My Valentine and Rammstein. Trivium, a band formed in Florida, USA, is appreciated for its melodic heavy metal approach, a rare thing in today’s world of metal and is also known for its electrifying live performances. The band was founded in Orlando, Florida in year 2000 and when only six years into the business, their shared the stage with such giants of the metal genre as Metallica and Korn. Their exceptional live appearances earned them the title Best Live Band at Metal Hammer Golden God Awards 2006, from the prestigious Metal Hammer magazine. Trivium has five albums under their belt, and a sixth is on the way and due for release this summer, right before Rock The City Festival.Enslaved, a progressive black metal band from Norway is another band to delight fans- ears. The band formed in 1991 and has released 12 albums so far, the most recent, last year. Last but not least by any means, Spineshank, an American nu metal band to also perform at Rock The City 2013. The band sold over half a million records and was a Grammy nominee.
