Nearly 40,000 individual tickets for the “George Enescu” International Festival will up for sale on April 15 at prices ranging from RON 20 to RON 80, event organizers announced. Tickets can be purchased starting from 10.00 am at www.eventim.ro, Eventim chain outlets, Humanitas and Carturesti bookshops. The “George Enescu” Festival 2013, Sept 1 – 28, includes over 150 events in Bucharest and as well as Arad, Bacau, Brasov, Cluj, Iasi, Oradea, Sibiu and Timisoara. Organizers say that, “the festival program has been completed and is steadfastly updated at www.festivalenescu.ro. Among the festival guests this year, conductors Daniel Barenboim and Mariss Jansons, pianists Radu Lupu, Murray Perahia, Pinchas Zuckerman, Maxim Vengerov and Evgeny Kissin.
