A severe traffic accident happened in Bucharest, after a taxi was crushed between two opposite trams in the Progresul Main Road – 13 Septembrie Road. Daniel Vasile, spokesman for the Bucharest Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU), aid that the taxi driver and female passenger in the car sustained head injuries and were taken to hospital. The two victims were extricated from the car, the ISU spokesman also said. Vehicle traffic was restricted in the accident area.
