100 tickets put up for sale for On Air Music Awards

Deloitte will coordinate the jury system just as it does for the Grammy Awards.

The Eventim network is distributing a limited number of tickets for the On Air Music Awards, the local showbiz’s most exclusive gala that will take place on April 15 at the National Theatre in Bucharest and will hand over awards to categories of professionals that work in the Romanian music industry, in a show that aims to be grandiose and to live up to international standards. Access will be based on invitation, the only exception being these 100 tickets, a press communiqué informs. Thus, those willing to get a VIP seat have to pay EUR 100. The reason for the price has less to do with the limited number of seats or the event’s premium quality and more with its charity goal: the proceeds obtained from the sale of the 100 tickets will be used to buy musical instruments that will be donated to one of the music high schools in Bucharest.Meanwhile, the Deloitte consulting company has joined the On Air Music Awards’ organizing team and will coordinate the tallying of jury votes by independently counting them, a press communiqué informs.

The nominees were selected based on radio and TV broadcasts and the winners will be designated by a jury made up of over 30 professional from the music domain and the domains related to it, the communiqué adds. The nominees include: Holograf, Loredana, Vunk, Paula Selling, Voltaj, Corina, The Mono Jacks, Travka and others. Thus, all members of the jury will send their votes directly to the Deloitte team, the company that accepted to validate the voting process and to tally the votes cast by the jury at the On Air Music Awards. “At first sight our involvement in this project may seem surprising, because we are talking about two very different industries,” Madeline Alexander, Partner Coordinator Deloitte Audit and Risk Services, stated. “However, in more than 20 years of experience at international and local levels we learned that quality audit – just as music – is an art in itself. Deloitte represents a standard of quality that we constantly promote among our clients and in all projects we get involved in. We are honored by Star Management’s proposal to be part of a campaign that plans to reward quality of the highest level in one of the most creative and successful industries in Romania.” Choosing Deloitte Romania came almost naturally, considering that Deloitte United States has played the same role in the famous Grammy Awards for decades, Zoli Toth, Managing Partner of Star Management, the event’s organizer, stated in his turn.
