Bute vs Pascal fight: 15,000 tickets already sold

One thing is for sure, there will be no tickets available when boxing superstars Lucian Bute (31-1, 24 KO-s) and Jean Pascal (27-2-1, 16 KOs) collide at the Bell Centre in Montreal on May 25th, according to boxingscene.com. Bute, one of the top names at super middleweight, is moving up the light heavyweight division to face Pascal. HBO will televise this match on HBO.“There are 15,000 tickets sold since last Thursday. This is excellent and I think we can expect a full house”, said InterBox President Jean Bedard to QMI Agency.“Centre Bell” has a 20,000 places capacity and organizers believe it will be full at the time of the fight.Romanian Lucian Bute, aged 33, lost his IBF middleweight world title on May 2012 against British Carl Froch by technical KO in the 5th round, in Nottingham.Pascal, a Canadian with Haitian origin, is aged 30 and was a world WBC light heavyweight champion.
