Sabin Pautza live in “Classic Meets Jazz” Concert, Radio Hall, Friday

Composer and conductor Sabin Pautza will join, in the latter capacity, saxophonist Nicolas Simion and pianist Antonis Anissegos in “Classic Meets Jazz”, a Radio Hall classical – jazz fusion concert on Friday, 7.00 pm. According to a press release, the event takes place in the context of the “Born in Romania”, concept season where celebrated Romanian artists living abroad are invited to make live appearances at the Radio Hall. The Friday concert will include works by Nicolas Simion – “Poem for Jancsy Korossy”, Nicolae Coman – “Concert for Piano”, Richard Oschanitzky – “Antphonies”. The audience will also have the opportunity to meet Sabin Pautza the composer in the “Bassklavier concert for bass clarinet, piano and orchestra”.

Rounding off the evening, two special guests – jazz saxophonist Nicolas Simion, who performed on stages in Austria, Germany, Japan, USA and France – and Greek pianist Antonis Anissegos, who studied composition in Cologne and Vienna.
