“Treasures of China” Exhibition in Bucharest, late April

The Bucharest Museum of National History will present this month “The Treasures of China”, according to rtv.net. The exhibit will run April 30 thru August 1, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Among the items on display, a bronze vessel dating from the late Shang dynasty a jade Neolithic ax, terracotta soldiers from the archaeological site Museum  of the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang and clay figurines from the time of the Han dynasty.

“The Treasures of China” exhibiting project is a major act of culture and the largest ever exhibition China has organized in a Romanian museum, containing invaluable artifacts from  11 museums and  cultural institutions from the People’s Republic of China,” museum officials say. The exhibit is organized in cooperation with the National Cultural Exchange Center of the People’s Republic of China.
