Volksbank Romania has launched the Flexible Maturity Deposit that can be contracted for a maturity of 3, 6 or 12 months, a press communiqué informs. Depositors can liquidate the deposit a certain period before the due date, from one month to four months before, without paying charges and without losing the accumulated interest. The interest rate for the Flexible Maturity Deposit ranges from 5.55 to 6.15 per cent per year for RON-denominated deposits and from 3 to 3.6 per cent per year for EUR-denominated deposits opened at Volksbank branches.
